Anybody can view a /t set board. I think he means he wants a sort of 'board' only residents can see.

I can see it being a good idea, but with the /t set board its really not that necessary. I mean Give me an EXAMPLE of why you would want to /mail everyone in your town? Also, the /mail townall command "could" possibly cause EXTREME amount of server lag in some cases.

I agree but as long as you put it on the board not your problem if they dont' read it.. and i can't imagain anyone woudl delete a town with hundreds of persons in it so it shoudl only have a few and you can put signs on each plot to tell them instead :? or /mail them each if like 20 or less not too hard.

I remember as being a mayor there were a couple of times I wanted to be able to send a mail to all of my residents regarding things like taxes, new features in the town, asking their feedback etc. Things that are not to be public via /t set board and as mentioned more effective/noticeable than /t set board. People quickly get used to the town board being the same for long periods of time that they don't notice when it changes.

Also, I can't remember the last time I personally actually read ANY town's board after spawning there for whatever reason...
