Youre allowed to build up there, youre not allowed to build farms or grinders to exploit the empty space and less mob spawning tho.

So I was wondering if we could make it legal to go on top of the nether. For one theres no real disadvantage to any players. Anyone can go look up a youtube video on how do it. Number 2, its a pain for staff? How in the world is it a pain for staff. I just want to create a small base up there where people can grief it. I mean I wouldn't want them to but I would hide it so well they wouldn't be able to find it.

It IS legal to be ontop the nether! The part that is NOT LEGAL (ILLEGAL) is if you wanted to build a farm/grinder or antying that give you and ADVANTAGE over another player! So if you want to build a cool castle that no one will ever see be my guest, but i personally think that woud be a waste of your time! Cause it can still be griefed, and you can just go like 1,000,000 block in the x axis and make the same cool base and people might actually see it one day?

yes that is a glitch/explit and if caught doing that im sure you would be ban. In some rare cases you can naturally spawn on top the nether, and that is legal.
