Can a staff member update the rule's thread?

I have noticed new rules implemented since the time Shainthewolfman wrote the rules out. Such as the nether portal one.

I am asking that the rule thread simply be updated so I can further refer new players to it when they speak to me.

It gets kind of awkward when Im helping somebody out and link them to the rule page. Only for said rules to be out of date and having to explain things further.

As far as I remember from being Staff, a new rules thread is being written up.

Sure, they're working on a new set of rules, but I agree that it would help to at least update the current rules while we wait for the new rules.

A new rules thread needs to be made.

Since Cooleys silence edits the Rules threads, we don't know when the rules change, and unless it's in a certain staff chat, staff don't even know for the most part. People get very confused my this, and just making a new thread would really help.

Agreed.... Its not like it'll take much time either. As an admin/supermod any of those people should have a thourough understanding of the rules. Why not take 20 minutes to update them. Heck, I even volunteer to write them out. How hard can it be?
