Skwisher, I like some aspects of your idea, but unfortunately there's a way to exploit this kind of system. Any time that the price is dictated by the volume of items available, the person with the highest volume of items wins.
Example: There are 10 shops selling Gold, each with 10 gold (100 gold total in system). Price is at $10 each. I bring online my own shop, and drop in 1000 gold. Price crashes to $1 each. I buy all the gold available. I have now spent $1100, earned $1000, and have 100 gold that would have cost $1000, but only cost me $100. I put up my own shop again with 10 gold in it, and the price is now $20 each because there aren't any other ships with inventory.
Keep working on ideas though! It's good to think about how to improve the economy, and eventually we'll get something that works.

This may be a lot easier said than done as if this was ever implemented into the server the amount of gold (or any item for that matter) would be a lot higher than just 100 gold pieces so the amount of money that would be required to invest to obtain all the items in order to crash the market would be huge. Whilst you may say this could still be done by people like Hornemans, and even if he managed to do this and obtain the only gold shop on the server, this would not last long as it is almost certain with the amount of players on the server that new gold shop would be made or the other ones would be restocked thus once again reducing the gold value. However I still do agree with you that this still has the potential to become a problem and I'll begin working towards finding a fix for it.
Is there a way to limit the price that can be sold for an item in the vshop?
IE- Player A has 16 diamonds he would like to sell. He wants to have the cheapest price so he sells them for 125, but sicnr the limit on diamond prices are 175, he cannot. Thus making the lowest price ANYONE can sell them for at 175 meebles.
Also, you could back this up with an admin shop that only sells items to players, which supports the ideal price to be selling items for. Of course, not every item can be put in here. You'd have to only put in valuable items and basics for nubs (logs, cobble, stone, diamonds, iron, coal, etc).

I'm sorry, but this would never work. As the supply and demand of items constantly change, the prices on the items will too. If there is a fixed price that everyone sell for (which will happen in this system as everyone will try to sell for the lowest price) some items will never be bought as their worth has fallen well below this set price, or they will never be sold as their worth is well above this set price.
And finally, if anyone here wants to talk about the Vshop, its benefits and fixing its detriments could you please take it somewhere else. This thread was not opened to discuss the Vshop and currently it is just getting spammed with posts regarding just that. As I said earlier, the Vshop isn't a bad system, I just believe that this holds the potential to be a better one.
Also with this Meepdelivery idea, the only problem is most people are too stingy to pay the extra 20%-30% fee and as /pwarps are readily available, the monopolization of large chestshops (primarily Diana's) will most likely continue. Additionally, this also allows for the easy monopolization of individual items as say I was to make a few automatic farms for individual items that could flood into one of these infinite storage chests and set the price extremely low, thus having an endless supply of items at drastically low prices allowing me to control that entire item market. These are just some of the flaws I see with Onis' idea, however if he managed to overcome them, I am all for considering it again.
