One of the complaints I have heard about Creative, is plot size, players want to build larger.
I know one suggestion has been that players be allowed to join plots, or donators could get larger plots.
But what about people that don’t like to build on a flat surface?
When I work in creative, I prefer to build in an existing environment, but you don’t want everyone to have free rein to build anywhere with no protection, that opens up players greefing and such.
So my thought was this, make a Towny creative world, all the player permissions would work the same way Alpha and Beta work, but in creative.
This way players can make plots as large or small as they want, they can build with as many friends as they may want.
All the builds are protected as long as taxes are being paid.
I believe one of the options on Towny, is Plot Regeneration:
“When a town plot is unclaimed (by a player or through upkeep) it will slowly begin to revert to a pre town state. Blocks will slowly change back to whatever blocks we're present at the moment the town block was claimed.”
I would say to turn this on, and it would help get rid of against abandoned projects.
I think this would end up needing a new world, so I don’t see it as a quick change.
