Forums real time updating.

Many people use Meepcraft forums for general talk that can be seconds between each reply. Right now it takes time to update and you have to reload the page for it to update. (which is so annoying) All I am proposing is that you (being the staff) change the forums to auto update and make forums easier to use.

pretty sure it's not possible, but we could add a shoutbox that updates real time.

The shoutbox would be spammy, so any real talk you make would be just as effective as shout, while you can read it, it's not optimal

In regards to the original proposition, that's just not possible. It's not in the Xenforo capabilities, and therefore not doable

Ik that some forums boards have an "Auto Update" box that you can check for the page to update automatically but those are extremely active boards

If you want real time chat, use TeamSpeak, Skype, or one of the thousands of other chat programs available. Forums are designed to have a slower pace to them.

True, but I don't want to go adding everyone to my personal Skype account and many people just don't use teamspeak and other ways of communicating with people on forums are going to be largely unavailable.

Denied - Forums isn't for lots of short posts, but more for longer and more informative posts.
