So I had this idea about Rank Donations.
The first few ranks are relatively inexpensive, but once you get to Elite, Supreme, & Ultimate, the dollar value per ranks jump up.
Exclusive – Elite - $ 40
Elite – Supreme $ 80
Supreme – Ultimate $ 160
I presume a lot of players don’t have 40-160 dollars that are easily paid to a rank, plus if you save up that amount to buy a larger rank, chances are that money can go to something else, upgrading hardware, a night out with friends, a date, or whatever.
Now if someone has a weekly / monthly allowance that they want to donate a specific amount to a server, they can donate toward a rank.
This would be similar to a layaway plan. Players will be able to donate what they can, if someone is only able to donate $20 a month, they can go from drifter to Ultimate in 16 months, assuming they don’t buy any additional ranks with Meebles, as opposed to never going higher than Exclusive, because they never have more money to spend on a rank.
They would not get any Perks until they hit the dollar amount for the rank.
I think this would encourage people to donate more, to help fund the development of new server features, Maintain the systems that keep the server running, & Attract more players to the server through advertising campaigns.
