That could be abused.
1k = 1 normal plot
5k = 1 outpost
and you're just gonna make an outpost for 1k? No. -1
Explain further so I can change my vote ;)
The main point for an outpost is to be able to claim a plot not connected to your town. If you claim a plot that is not connected to your town, it is 5k, but if you claim a plot that is connected to your town it is 1k. Now lets say I want my residents to be able to teleport to the plot that isnt an outpost, why should I have to /t unclaim it, then /t claim outpost spending more money on a plot the town (Owner) already owned. Why can't I just /t set outpost spawn (new command) nd make that a plot an outpost for resident to teleport to. And this is a good example:
In order to get a normal plot, you need a plot next to it. You can't just claim an empty plot in the towny wild for 1000 meebles then change it to an outpost. The only benefit of this suggestion would be to allow residents to use the /t outpost command to get to certain locations more easily. I don't think this could be abused.

But Gummi, give me an example of how this can be abused without giving false information. If there is no example, give me a reason why it shouldn't be implemented.
-1 if you're changing the plot from regular -> outpost for free
but if you're willing to pay 4k (so it adds up to 1 outpost) than I'm a +1

This still doesn't make sense, that means you are changing the price of an outpost to 4k, therefore, if you are just claiming an outpost, it is 4k, if you are changing a plot to an outpost it is 5k, still doesn't do anything to fix the issue. I am saying, since I already own that plot, why should I unclaim to make into an outpost?
