Introduction
Hey guys!
I've written the same intro for awhile, so I’ll keep this part short and sweet. My Name’s Alexia, but you can call me Alex or monkey. Some things I enjoy doing are drawing, sketching, and painting. Also, I attend a few classes, like horse riding, Pikiti Tirsia Kali (a Filipino martial art) and Scottish dance.
Meep Experience
I’ve been playing meepcraft for a year and several months now. The thing that really connected me to Meep at first was towny. I remember the first town I joined, legacy. That was my first little house, back when I had no clue what was what. I lived off of the first 2 levels of parkour and TnTrun.
As many of you know, I was staff once before. since then, I’ve worked on becoming more helpful IG, on forums, and teamspeak. I’ve tried my best to improve on all of my past issues.
Why should I be moderator?
I promised to myself that before I applied I’d stay happy as a helper for a good bit and be sure that I was ready for the promotion. I feel like I’ve achieved that goal. Through my activity in several timezones, I’ve had many a chance to use the skills I both remember from my first go and what I’ve picked up along the way.
I had very little training as soon as I finished my interview. I learned the new commands very easily on the spot, and practiced it, learning from my mistakes and I try to never to make a mistake twice.
Weaknesses:
Immaturity: This is something found in everyone and it’s pretty self-explanatory. However, I do know the right times to be mature or when I can have a bit more fun. I understand more about what’s okay and what’s not and what’s more accepted as a staff member and how a staff member represents the server; However, this is something I’m still working on.
Distractions: It’s very easy to get distracted from a modreq or helping someone, especially when I’m doing multiple things at once or they stop responding and I get easily sidetracked. This is something that will be improved with time and practice.
Conclusion:
I have the confidence and dedication to make this promotion worth it. I know how to do the job and I think I do reasonably well at it. I’m active in the community, on the player side and the staff side, and made sure I know both sides well. I hope you feel like I’m ready for this too. Happy holdidays!
