It's kind of a buffer to say that you are aware that it isn't normally allowed, and is kind of a grace effect. It basically points out that you aren't trying to be annoying and are aware of the rules, and know that staff may remove the post and don't need to give you any warning points (as long as it's not excessive in the amount of posts).
