Help Can't Type ?!

Hello I cant type on any server I have tested my t button it works I even changed the button to y but it still didn't work please help me. Also I haven't seen a single player type . Please help me

Step number one: Click on the 'Esc' button on the top left corner of your keyboard.
Step number two: Click the 'Options' button.
Step number three: Click the 'Multiplayer Settings' button.
Step number four: Keep clicking the 'Chat: Shown/Off/Commands Only' until it says 'Chat:Shown.'

Tap the control button. Always helps me.

Try '/' as well, them backspace it if you don't want to keep the slash, and:
