Creeper One Shots In Ctf

I have noticed a few times even upon times where I am in full diamond creepers blow up and one shot me is there any way this could be fixed? If so would be greatly appreciated

How close are the creepers to you when this happens? If they're really close you're going to be killed in one hit.

Creepers are not supposed to kill you if they blow up when you have a full Diamond armor. They deal 1 and 1/2 heart of damage to you even if you are hugging them and blow up right in front of your face.Correction: 3 hearts of damage when you are inside them.

up to 2-3 blocks away usually when I am in full diamondI usually get full diamond I claim the flags then jump down into the mines and kill the people who have been mining to save time for me and hinder the other team
