Introduction:
Hello all! You may not know me, but I am Bob4444444. Outside of Meepcraft, I participate in many activities. I play piano, and also play various sports. I am also apart if a robotics league (FLL) and we have made it to the state finals two years in a row. I am an honors student, and I am trying my hardest for high honors. I am also in Advanced Math and Advanced English/Literature. I try to keep my academics my primary focus, but I still play on Meepcraft a lot of the time.
I have been playing Meepcraft since about the middle of August 2013 and has been a big part of my life since then. It has been such a great time for me! I have made so many new friends, and I am so happy I am apart of this wonderful community. Everyday I try to find some time get on Meepcraft. After my last application, I knew I would never give up. So here I am today, applying once more to be staff. I hope you consider this application.
Why you should be Helper?
Experience- I can't say I have much experience moderating Minecraft servers. I have been admin and mod on some other servers, but they weren't the types of server where staff actually do stuff (I am no longer staff on any server). I understand some commands, but not as nearly as enough commands I would get as a helper.
I also have been co-mayor in a couple towns recently, and being a co-mayor is a big job. I have been very responsible with my power with this job, and taken my responsibilities very seriously and tried not to goof off.
In real life, I have a lot of leadership skills. I may be immature, but I can be as serious as I need to be when I need to be. I like to be fun, but it's not all fun and games. When it's time to be serious, my immaturity goes away and I am mature as can be.
Work Ethic- I may be lazy sometimes (as stated in my weaknesses) but I would always try to work my hardest as a staff member. As a staff member, I would work as much as possible and try to help as much as I possibly can. The community means the world to me, and I would do my best to serve it as great as I can. I would not goof off and fool around while on the job. I would be as serious as can be and get the job done as efficiently as I could.
Dedication- I have too much dedication to everything here. The forums, teamspeak, ingame, the community, and even more! I dedicate myself to everything possible. As a helper, I would dedicate myself to helping the community and making the community a better place. As I stated above, the community means the world to me and I would do anything to help its future development and make it a family friendly place.
Involvement- I am very involved here. Everyday I go on teamspeak. I don't just go in a channel and leave, I stay and talk to the community. I am on the forums pretty much all the time. The forums is the place where a lot of the news happens, it's so exciting! That's why I like it so much. Now for ingame. I try to be active in shout as much as possible and try to not be super immature. I try to get ingame as much as I can, but sometimes school doesn't allow me to do so. In all three of the aspects, I try to help everywhere.
Performance- Most of the time, I try to act mature and help people as much as I can. Unfortunately, I can get immature and a little lazy sometimes. I try not to be lazy, but most of the time that really isn't an issue. As a staff member, I would work my best and take my responsibilities very seriously. I would use 100% effort as much as I can possibly put in. My main goal would be to serve the players as much as I can and do whatever I can do to benefit the community.
Weaknesses:
Since my interview, I have worked on my weaknesses greatly. They may not be 100% out of my system, but they are much more controlled now. I will list all of my weaknesses from my last app and explain in detail how I have improved on them.
Immaturity: Immaturity, my main weakness of them all. This used to be much more of major weakness but I have overcome it a bit. On my last app, immaturity was not a big issue. But, I still find I can me immature. I understand sometimes I can be immature and quite annoying But, most of the time I try to stay funny and try not to go immature. Sometimes for me it is uncontrollable. I feel like if I try my hardest, most of the time I will be capable to stay mature.
Laziness/Effort: I have definitely improved on this aspect a lot over the past couple months. Unfortunately though, I can be VERY lazy sometimes and try to find the easy way out of things. This is not the way to be a staff member, I know. I am mainly basing this off of myself in real life. But, sometimes my real life qualities get the best of me here. I honestly think I am not really lazy anymore but sometimes it will get to me. I don't think this will affect me much, but sometimes it sadly will.
Raging/Patience: I didn't quite explain this well on my last application, I'll put this in more detail. I don't necessarily rage at the person. I get mad, but I don't say anything in chat and I try to calm myself. If I am talking to someone via Skype or Teamspeak, I may mention that this is annoying me. I would never actually say this to the player. Also, when a player keeps asking a question and I keep answering, it tends to get a little annoying. But, I would never try to be mean to the player. I would just repeat myself but emphasize the fact stronger. I feel like this isn't as much of a weakness much anymore, but I wanted to point this out because I want you guys to understand this more and know I would never do anything to hurt the player.
Conclusion:
This is exactly why I want to be staff member. I love Meepcraft, it is one of the most amazing things I have ever done in my life. I don't know what I would be without my friends here, they are such a big part of me and they mean the world to me. It would be such an honor to be a Helper and moderate such a big and great server like this. Thank you for all of you that took the time to read my application, that really means a lot to me. I hope you consider my application and I hope to be accepted for staff and finally become a staff member! :)
