It was a serverwide issue on Towny, and it fixed itself within an hour of me posting this. First time it's happened too.

The void happens when the world is down. It prevents your items from being rolledback. Regardless, if it wasn't there, you still wouldn't have been able to access the server.

Moving to resolved. Thanks for reporting though, it helps us get the server back up more quickly.
