There is, actually.
Thought in work chat it is 3 letters, and in shout it is 1 letter.
Things like "LOL" "OMG" aren't bring punished at the moment, but kicking for caps will usually still occur if you try to type out multiple words in all caps.
Also, I believe this is being fixed sometime soon (not 100% though).
