I'm pretty sure that the swords aren't kb on elite.
On supreme, I think the compass points towards the closest person or the person with the highest kill streak?

The exclusive sword isn't even a sword: it's a diamond axe (which is basically an iron sword)
Also, swords on Elite do not have kb.
