Introduction:
Well, I've been on this server for about 1.5 years or so (estimate because I've been reset a few times). Since my early days when I did nothing but parkour I have grown quite a lot along with the server. As I started high-school and had to adapt to added responsibilities each year causing me to temporarily leave Meepcraft (and most games in general). I always found myself returning, there is just something about the community and this server that keeps me coming back. I have wanted to become staff for a long time now, I applied a few times back in the old meep months ago before the restart and sadly was denied, but even though I never had the title for Helper or Mod, it has never stopped me from trying my best to help players and seek out those who attempt to harm the server**(in old Meep worked with Oroperion and PhoenixPuppy on a few occasions to find dupers). My online time is limited some days due to being involved in honors and AP classes as well as being in sports year-round. This causes my activity to be very low or not at all on some days where I have a track meet or a lot of schoolwork.
Why i should be Helper:
I am very active, and I have a very good knowledge of commands, rules, and of how the server is run. During my time here on Meepcraft I have built myself a strong reputation among the community for being helpful where I can making many friends and handling most situations maturely. I work hard at what I set my mind to and believe in and I intend to bring that same determination with me when I become helper.
I have dealt with numerous civil cases involving theft, harassment, greifing, etc. Along with a few serious offences such as dupers and hackers. I have many friends that are staff, or are former-staff and through them I have been able to learn a great deal about the rules, commands, responsibilities that the staff have. I am almost always involved in /shout and check the forums regularly- though I do not comment that often I read almost all ban appeals/ban reports, suggestions, and browse through Discussion and Marketplace when I'm bored.
Weaknesses:
• I have very little mic usage while on Skype or TeamSpeak.
• I have been lacking in TeamSpeak activity lately
• I tend to get into some arguments in /shout (though they never escalate to where I, or the other party involved receives kick or temp-bans)
• My activity can be sporadic sometimes due to school and sports.
Conclusion:
I am a very hardworking and dedicated member of the community, helping in ways I can and getting involved in many places through my time here(pvp, skype groups, gaming with other people from Meep, etc). Meep has been a big part of my life for almost 2 years now and I feel it is time to give back to the community. Regardless of the outcome of this application you will see me more often in TeamSpeak, and on the forums in the upcoming weeks!
