dr_drayman Whenever I try to get on Meepcraft, I keep getting kicked off. I have tried other servers and they work. I haven't done anything bad.
dr_drayman Actually, i get no error message, it's automatic when i am on for 1 sec, then it takes me to the 1st minecraft screen (not the main menu, the one before that.)
KingCobra62498 Your game might be crashing. Try lowering the render distance, using a less graphic-intensive texture pack, and lowering the settings in general. All the people on the server and the massive amounts of builds eat lots of data.
dr_drayman Well, I tried both things, reducing render distance let me on for like 5 seconds more, and trying to update java left it at Java 6 still, what now?
KingCobra62498 Well the extra 5 seconds is a good start. The next step I suggest for you is to download Optifine if you haven't already; it's a mod (allowed on this server) that greatly increases FPS. After you do that, there are lots of settings you can tweak and lower enough to where you can play.Download Link: http://optifine.net/downloads.php
dr_drayman when i was about to download, it said that this file can harm my computer, is this true for all other computers as well? Sorry for continuously asking questions.
chaos546 Yes, the type of file that Optifine is can potentially harm your computer. However, hundreds (perhaps even thousands) of people have downloaded the mod without any issues, so it should be alright. Just be sure that you don't download it from somewhere sketchy. A place like the Minecraft Forums should be alright, especially if it's from the thread that has 2015 pages.
dr_drayman OK, thank you very much.Welp, I was so close to almost being able to stay on MeepCraft, I was on for like 5 minutes, then i teleported to spawn, then I got kicked :/, I'm afraid we are running out of ideas.
KingCobra62498 Well the idea I have for you is to avoid spawn completely, it's the biggest laggiest area. If you must go to spawn, lower all of your setting in Esc -> Options -> Video Settings. Put all the settings off or on the lowest possible setting.

dr_drayman Actually, I found out the reason why it wasn't working..... I didn't have the right Java. I was using Java 32 bit when i should of been using 64 bit, but now the server works for me now :D. Thank you to everyone that was trying to help me get back onto MeepCraft :).
