Well to make you feel better corpse party is based on a game and the anime followed
the Bad ending 2 if Im correct. The game had lot of endings bad and good ones and in the good one his sister him and that guy that came back to that world didnt die so dont be sad

I just started watching Corpse Party. Oh, My, God, this is the bloodiest and more gory anime ever.

If you think Another is disturbing, don't watch Corpse Party or Elfen Lied.
