Hi Orange, glad to see you applying. I've noticed you in game, which is a good thing.
- First of all, your in game activity. While you are okay in shout and such, you need to help more, and there is lots of room for improvement. Work on that.
- Secondly, forums activity. While you are a Member and you do sometimes post in the places I count, your posts need to be overall more well-thought out and contributive. Just be friendly and helpful and don't be immature about things.
- The application was mediocre. While it was better by far than the worst I've seen, there's a lot of room for improvement. I'm going to quote specific areas that bothered me.
I love meepcraft. I go on meepcraft everyday to talk to the community and find rule breakers. Some times I go in wild to just find x-ray tunnels, or ill just stay in spawn to help the new members get to where they need to be. I play soccer, basketball and I love to ski.
This is not a very great way to start your application. First of all, we already know that you love meepcraft; why else would you be here? We don't need you to tell us on your application. Also, anything about Meepcraft that you deem important enough to be on your application should be in the Why section, not the Introduction. The Intro is about getting to know you. The only part that is actually what it is supposed to be is the last sentence.
Back in MN I was helper for about 1 month then I resigned because of CrueltyGamings demoting all of the good staff members, who were also my friends. Fuzzlr was inactive so crueltygamings took mater in to his own hands and completely ruined meepcraft. So I just left. As soon as I found out old meepcraft was back, I got an new account (Orange_Ninja3) I came on. I loved the new meep way better than MN. Fuzzlr was back and active, all the new staff were nice and hard working. They caught all the x-rays/hackers/rule breakers.
What was your old username? Also, we already know that this Meep is better than MN and we know the story of it. This is not the place for that. We also don't need you to lavish praise on us. There is more to being staff than catching x-rayers, hackers, and rule-breakers, too.
If I become helper, I will be very very active on both in-game and on forums (also on teamspeak). I will help the members of meepcraft from when I get home from school until I have to go to bed. I will do lots and lots of modreq's, but not just do them, I will do all of it until they have no more questions and there fun can begin.
You should be very active before becoming Helper, not after. We don't expect you to stay on that long, and I doubt your parents will agree. It is impossible to do all the modreqs and is a foolish thing to promise as it is not possible for you to accomplish.
I don't like when people advertise it makes me feel like other people will leave meepcraft to spend all there time on that server. Which is mainly why they do not let staff has there own multiplayer server (btw I don't have one).
I don't see how this has anything to do with Work Ethic. Plus, no, the main reason we don't want staff here that are staff on another server is because we don't want them to have to split their time between them.
I ski a lot so that might take a little time away from being on meepcraft. also my teamspeak and forum activity might be a little problem. Im on teamspeak usually but forums, I am on forums all the time but the problem is I don't post a lot. I will be working to improve my forum posting.
We are looking for more than just activity weaknesses. Can you think of anything that may effect your work as a Helper? Maybe you don't spell very well, and it may make communication difficult? Maybe you are immature or impatient? Also tell us how you are working to prevent it from effecting you.
Now, I'm not saying all this to tell you you are wrong, but rather to show you that these sorts of things don't really need to be on your application. Try to focus on you, mostly, and avoid being overconfident or promising things you can't uphold.
Also, try to avoid replying to every post. 'ummmm lol' is also not an appropriate post for your application and makes you look immature. Just wondering, why did you delete your two posts?
Sorry, but I am at a -1. Good luck, though.
WAT. I could do that... I would spend an hour a day doing that...
Then apply. Meanwhile, don't post foolish things like this on a staff application and instead private message the staff member. Keep all of your posts on applications between you and the applicant, and make sure they are all constructive. Thanks.
