Seeing as I don't have much contact with you in game, there's a heavy reliance on the app. You may suck about talking about yourself but, its easy to write out fluff for an application. It was too short, especially in the 'why' and 'weaknesses' section. Everyone has more weaknesses than that, no need to put them under the rug. Just improve the overall application and I'll probably change this to a +1. Also, work up on that forum activity.

I have not seen you in game enough to judge, but from what I have seen, you do seem like a nice person, who genuinely wants to help.

Though your app was somewhat under-par, I do believe that you want to help.

You are very active in forums even though I don't see you ig (because I'm on EST time). Not seeing you ig has allowed me to not have any bad experiences with you. Although your app was short it was straightforward and to the point. No crap that no one wanted to hear.

The adventure of me trying to stay up all night was definitely worth it because I got to meet you and I got to know you, too. You are definitely a VERY nice person and you would be a great addition to staff. Although your name can make you look bad.... I think you'd be very involved in the community, and I think the community would like you, too. Your app was under par but honestly thats the only con.+1 for interview!!!

Intro:
Hullo there, I'm DickTogs. Yup, my name is terrible. I'm fairly sure all you mods and helpers know the story with my name, but here it is again. My fiancee bought minecraft for me, and when he asked what I wanted my name to be, I said 'Whatever' so this is my name. I'm willing to change accounts to change it, if need be. Would be lovely to keep my ULT though :p. So I love meepcraft, and I'm on a lot. I'm in the forums almost all the time too, though I don't post much. I own my own town in game too, called cobra.
Why should I be helper?:
Because I love helping out the newbies. Also I've noticed there isn't many aussie helpers so there's a bit of a time gap sometimes when there are no helpers or mods on. I could totally help with that. I'm on a lot, usually everyday. I'm also seriously against rule breaking.
Weaknesses:
Hmm. When people are rude to me I lose patience I guess. I can't really think of anything else.
Conclusion:
So yeah, I hope you guys can give me a shot, I really love playing on the server and it would be awesome to help out. :D

As for my weaknesses, sure. I have them. I honestly couldn't think of any others that would apply to being helper.

E.G I'm abysmal at math. I have a stupid limp because a broken bone healed bad. IRL I'm very shy and socially anxious, but so far it hasn't affected me in meepcraft cause over the internet no one know you're actually a potato.

Thank you for taking the time to give me some pointers. I'm aware the app totally sucks. If need be I'll make another but I really really do fail at talking myself up. It's awkward for me.

Edit: People think that people replying constantly are desperate, because they appear as they are constantly waiting, watching, and replying. I don't think you are desperate, as I said, I don't want people to use that against you. That is why I warned you.

- The only reason this isn't a full +1 is because of your application. It is important to have a good application, but you are a good person and a good candidate for Helper, regardless.

The reason we also don't want you responding to every comment is because it involuntarily bumps your application. While I completely understand your desire to thank the people who respond, try to instead just reply every 5 or so comments, quoting them all, collectively thanking them, and responding to the worries/comments.

Your name doesn't bother me in the slightest; a person is far more than their name, and you have quite obviously proven yourself to be mature. However, if you wish to have a better first impression, I'd probably get a new account. Just to be on the safe side.

Your in-game activity is phenomenal, and I have seen your maturity on numerous occasions. You know the community, you know the server, and you know the rules. Those are three things I look for when I want to see someone be a helper. You are active on team speak, and on the forums. Both big pluses for me. You may be wondering why I didn't give you a full +1 then. The application. I won't give you a -1 because I know who you are and what you are capable of, but I am very, very, very picky about applications. I know you said that you don't really like talking about yourself, but your staff application is the one place that you SHOULD talk and brag about yourself. If you need help with that, I believe the compulsory format thread has some tips and pointers about how to fill up some space and talk about yourself and your accomplishments. Please keep that in mind when making your moderator application. ;) Good luck!
