Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my application. My name is Amazon3d (Shawn), I have been into gaming since I could press keys on the keyboard. I started way back in the 90's with Castle Wolfenstine on Windows 3.1 and have been into gaming ever since. I've played pretty much every genera of game from FPS to Puzzle games. However Sandbox/Building games have always been my favorite. I played Starwars Galaxies from the time it released till it's community died after some updates. I managed towns, guilds, shops, hunts, PvP events, PvE events, and numerous other events over that time. I more recently Co-Admin'd on BF2/2142/3/BC2. I started playing MC in October and have loved it ever since. I enjoy communities such as we have on Meep and playing with friends. I work 40hrs a week so I am generally not available during 7-5pm EST, though I do check the forums periodically throughout the day. I have a background in computers, worked on them since I was 13 (built first PC) and have been working professionally on them for the last 6 years. I am also a college graduate (Windows Networking, Diploma).
So the why? Pretty simple, we seem to be under-staffed for the amount of Mod Req's we have on a daily basis. I enjoy helping other players, righting wrongs, and helping new Meeps get into the game. I am dedicated to a position for whatever duration I hold it (I ran sound for our church for 9-10 years, until we moved). I'd like to be able to help people that are having issues that require special assistance (invis in arena, player stuck issues in SkyBlock, Towns being Grief'd, etc). I do however not want to be required to play 120 hrs a week to be considered for staff, so if that is a requirement you can stop reading now.
One of the many reasons I play MC is to meet new people, I also feel as a staff I would be able to meet a lot more players that I would normally not get to meet. Another reason I'd like to become staff is to help with spam, often when I am player there are 0-2 mods on (first thing in the AM and on weekends) and they can't solve all the issues, players will intentionally spam foul language just because they don't think Mods are on, this is extremely frustrating because for one, I don't want to see it, but two, it clogs up chat, and three, I wouldn't want my child seeing some of the filth that gets posted, so I can only imagine parents would feel the same. Also, I have never been banned or otherwise done anything that resulted in a derogatory mark on my account. When I first started on Meep I thought my Diamond sword duplicated on an Anvil and I did a Mod Req to make sure I was in the right, ended up being lag and the sword returned to a single item.
The positions: So I am not sure what position I want to apply for, I've asked several Mods, Admins, and Helpers what the roles of the various staff are as they are not posted and have not got a response. So I need you to decide what position I should be applying for based on the above information.
Strengths & Weaknesses:
I will pretty much paraphrase my boss on this as he sees me from the outside on a daily basis.
I have can have trouble with Follow Through, he said I am doing much better than when I started but it is still something I need to work on, an example would be finishing expense reports, calling clients back after a repair, and making sure every problem in the building was fixed not just the one I was called about.
On the other side he said I have a solid work ethic, I am honest, and friendly. I know where boundaries lie and where not to go with conversations.

If I only had 2 sentences to sum up this application they would be as follows; I would like to become a member of the staff to better the community and keep it safe for everyone.
