Helper to Moderator
Introduction:
Most of you probably know me by now but if not I’m PuckMiner! I am 13 and have been playing MeepCraft for about a year now and have become a Helper. My two hobbies are MeepCraft and hockey. I definitely like MeepCraft more! I am eager to take the next step in helping players.
Why I would be a great Mod!
Throughout my time as being Helper, I have become very skilled at Hawkeye. When I first became staff, I had no clue how Hawkeye worked but, within a week or two, I got it down pat. I am having little to no difficulty in any case that requires Hawkeye.
Another element in which I have contributed is modreqs. I have done about 500 modreqs(in just a little over 3 weeks) in my time as Helper and have found that not one is alike. Often players have very obscure questions that you really have to pick your brain to find an answer. I have had no trouble coming up with the correct answer and satisfying them. I feel that as a mod I would be there to assist new Helpers with these tough modreqs.
As a mod I would help all the new helpers and make sure that they aren’t having any trouble. One thing that stood out to me as a Helper, was how the mods were always there to help you with anything. I would try and do the same with every Helper. Another important aspect of being a Mod is recruiting new Helpers. This is a big job as making the right choice is important when deciding who is a Helper. I feel that as a Mod I would be able to help make the right choices.
Weaknesses:
One of my weaknesses is that I am not active on the forums. I prefer to help out more in game but I am trying to get my forum activity up even if it means putting the extra time in. Another weakness of mine is I that I have not been a Helper for a very long time but I feel I have learned a ton. Finally, I come off sometimes as being a bit presumptuous to some players and have realized this. I try not to act this way and intend on improving this further.
Conclusion:
Becoming a mod will allow me to do so much more. This will broaden my helping horizons and I will be able to aid the community a lot more. I thank you for taking the time out to read this.
Sincerely,
PuckMiner
